31-Jan-2026: Dangerous Men Under A Holy King

Opening Prayer

Introduction

If you are a Christian man, listen closely. You were not called to be harmless. You were called to be dangerous—a threat to every lie, every deception, every force that dares to rise against The Truth of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 16:13

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.”

Look around. Over two billion people claim the name of Christ, yet how many will stand when that name is mocked? This is especially important in Pakistan where The Disciples of Jesus Christ is only about 1% of the population of approximately 200 million people.

When truth is challenged? When churches are replaced, faith diluted, and holiness treated as obsolete? When the name of our Lord is dragged through the mud, where is the spine of the Church?

Where are the men who will speak when the world spits in the face of our King? Luke 9:26 “Whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him.”

They desecrate what is holy. They mock what is sacred. And the world should be able to look at the men of God and fear, not because of arrogance, but because of conviction.

WITHOUT STRENGTH, GOODNESS IS WORTHLESS: Let me tell you something plainly: goodness without strength is not biblical virtue. A man who poses no threat to the enemy is not useful to the Lord—he is a liability.

Proverbs 24:10

“If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.”

If that stings, good. It should. Do you really believe evil backs down simply because a man says he loves God? No. Evil does not tremble because you sing worship songs on Sunday. It laughs at men who speak of love but lack the courage to defend truth.

James 2:17

“Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

Love without backbone is not Christlike. Truth without defense does not remain truth for long.

EVIL THRIVES WHERE MEN REMAIN PASSIVE: If men refuse to guard what is sacred, the faithless will overrun it. Not because their arguments are stronger—but because our resistance is weaker.

Ephesians 6:12

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against authorities, against the powers of this dark world.”

Evil thrives where men remain silent. The enemy longs for a faith filled with obedient yet harmless men—devoted yet quiet—because without strength, even devotion loses weight. Judges 2:10 “Another generation arose… who did not know the Lord… and they did evil in the sight of the Lord.”

History confirms this truth.

A WARNING FROM HISTORY: COMPROMISE ALWAYS COMES FIRST

Look at Europe for example. Once rich in Christian roots, now openly hostile to the gospel. Churches empty. Christ mocked. Believers persecuted. It did not begin with conquest—it began with compromise. Christians failed to guard what they allowed in.

Nehemiah 4:14

“Fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your homes.”

They looked at the Church and saw no threat. That was enough.

JESUS WAS NOT SOFT, HE WAS SUBMITTED AND STRONG:

Remember this clearly: Jesus was not weak. He was wise. He cast out demons. He rebuked leaders. He flipped tables.

John 2:15

“He made a whip of cords and drove them all out of the temple.”

Mark 1:34

“He drove out many demons.”

Matthew 12:20

“A bruised reed He will not break.”

He was gentle with the broken and ruthless with evil. He did not come to please the world. He came to conquer sin.

John 18:36

“My kingdom is not of this world.”

OUR GOD IS NOT TAMED:

Your heavenly Father is not tame. He is who He is.

Exodus 3:14

God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”

Hebrews 12:29

“For our God is a consuming fire.”

Revelation 5:5

“Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah.” And you, man of God, are called to reflect that balance—lion and lamb, strength and restraint, courage and humility.

Micah 6:8

“Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.”

There should be nothing about you that is harmless to sin, lies, or corruption.

CHRIST DEMANDS ULTIMATE LOYALTY:

If someone mocks the gospel, distorts truth, or invades what is holy, you are called to stand. You must have the spine and conviction to rise against it. You don’t get to be weak and still claim to serve the king.

Jude 1:3

“Contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.”

You do not get to be weak and still claim to serve the King. That is not humility. That is disobedience.

Matthew 10:38

“Whoever does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.”

If you will not fight for your faith, you will lose it. There should be nothing about you that is harmless, not to sin, not to lies, not to the world. Christ demands ultimate loyalty.

That’s not humility. Be the man with the spine. We must not decrease in number nor succumb to the noise and rising power of the faithless who serve another master. Because the truth is, if you won’t fight for your faith, you’ll lose it.

YOU COME FROM A SACRED LINEAGE:

You are not just a man:

1 Peter 2:9

“You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood.” Romans 8:17 “Heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.”

You were bought with blood. The Most important Blood in all of the Universe. The Blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

1 Corinthians 6:20

“You were bought at a price.”

THE WEIGHT OF THE CROWN:

The crown is light to the disobedient and heavy to the obedient.

2 Timothy 2:5

“An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.”

God desires to place a crown on your head. So give him a head strong and worthy enough to bear it. Discipline will feel heavy at first, but it strengthens the neck.

Hebrews 12:11

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later it produces righteousness.”

Reject a life built on comfort.

THE FIVE CROWNS IN THE BIBLE:

The Bible teaches that what believers do for God on earth matters eternally. Our works are recorded in the Book of Remembrance, and one day every believer will stand before Christ to be judged — not for salvation, but for reward. Malachi 3:16 – A Book of Remembrance is written for those who fear the Lord and honor His name.

2 Corinthians 5:10

“We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ… to receive what is due for what we have done in the body, whether good or bad.”

At the Judgment Seat of Christ, Jesus will reward faithful believers. Scripture identifies five crowns that will be given to those who faithfully do the work of God.

The Incorruptible Crown

Given to: Those who exercise self-discipline and gain victory over the flesh, the world, and Satan. 1st Corinthians 9:25–27 – 5 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.

This crown represents spiritual discipline, perseverance, and living a life submitted to Christ.

The Crown of Rejoicing

Given to: Those who win souls and bring others to Christ. 1st Thessalonians 2:19 – Believers who lead others to Christ are their joy and crown at the Lord’s coming.

This is often called the soul-winner’s crown.

The Crown of Life (Crown of Eternal Life)

Given to: Those who endure trials, suffering, and even death while remaining faithful to Christ—especially martyrs. James 1:12 – God gives the crown of life to those who remain faithful under trial. Revelation 2:10 – “Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

This crown honors faithfulness through suffering.

The Crown of Glory

Given to: Faithful shepherds—pastors and spiritual leaders—who care for God’s people. 1st Peter 5:4 – When the Chief Shepherd appears, faithful leaders will receive a crown of glory that never fades.

This crown reflects servant leadership and faithful oversight.

The Crown of Righteousness

Given to: Those who live in expectation of and love the Second Coming of Christ. 2nd Timothy 4:8 – The crown of righteousness is reserved for all who eagerly await Christ’s appearing.

This crown is tied to hope, holiness, and longing for Christ’s return.

Jesus Himself promises that rewards are coming:

Revelation 22:12

“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every man according as his work shall be.”

Salvation is by grace — but rewards are given according to faithfulness. What we do for Christ is remembered, recorded, and rewarded.

TRUE MASCULINITY IS DEFINED BY CHRIST:

Modern masculinity offers two lies: dominate or disappear. Christ destroys both. Matthew 26:53 “Do you think I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will send twelve legions of angels?”

Power restrained. Authority submitted.

Philippians 2:8

“He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death.”

You become like the one you kneel to.

TIME IS RUNNING — DO NOT WASTE YOUR CALLING:

Ephesians 5:16

“Redeem the time, because the days are evil.”

Use your mind. Your body. Your voice. Your strength.

Colossians 3:23

“Whatever you do, do it as unto the Lord.”

Giving up should never be in your blood.

Galatians 6:9

“Do not grow weary in doing good.”

The world does not need more passive men pretending to follow Jesus. It needs men who are strong, disciplined, obedient, and unashamed. Be gentle enough to love. Strong enough to lead. Dangerous enough to destroy evil.

Joshua 24:15

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Stand firm. Guard the truth. Bear the crown. And let the world know exactly whose you are.

God Bless you all in The Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
